Berlin city guys and girls listen up!

For everyone in Berlin who likes to eat good food: check out 'Chipps'!

It's near Französische Straße in the middle of the city and has the best dinner menu ever. It is a vegetarian restaurant and has many vegan meals too, which I am an absolute fan of!
I guess this post is more suitable for all the german peeps out there but I hope you'll like it :-)

The menu:

Me and my companion shared 2 starters, the first one was summer roll with peanut sauce, asian vegetables and lettuce hearts. I can definitely recommend both of the starters, they were really delicious!

Additionally we had the comté with hummus and pimientos de padron, salty fingers, amalfi lemon and hazelnut:

Afterwards I was already quite full and decided to go for another starter as my main course. So then I had a stuffed eggplant with tomatoes, buckwheat, avocado and passion fruit but I wouldn't order that again or recommend it since it was quite boring and nothing special at all.

My counterpart went for the over the top goat cheese with red pepper relish, coal, corn cream and figs. This course was the icing on the cake- it tasted soo good and you definitely have to try it if you ever find your way to this amazing restaurant!

All in all I cannot stop saying how much I loved the food and the restaurant in general, I will definitely go there again. The meals are all healthy and very creative in the making. It looks amazing, tastes even better and leaves you with a stuffed tummy and a good conscience at the same time :)

most beautiful dresses of all time

A designer that has always unofficially and secretly been the first in queue is Jenny Packham. I myself didn't know for a long time that those beautiful works of art aka. dresses of hers existed which is why I  feel the need to spread this cognizance :)

My favorite two pieces of the current AW catwalk collection are definitely these:

Aaaaaand I already know which dress I'm going to walk down the aisle one day:

So are they perfect or are they perfect?

I knew I didn't promise too much ;)

birthdaykiddo

On saturday, 21st of June, was my birthday and since there weren't any special happenings I'm just going to share some impressions of the day with you:

Aaaaaand a short video :) I'm thinking of doing some more videos, what do you say?

weekend = perfect days

This weekend was amazing.
I went to the Dalí exhibition, to a club with one of my best friends and to Potsdam for some sightseeing :)

(I didn't really like the exhibition tho, might be because I'm not a fan of surrealism in general)

:)

the dutch quarter was so cute and picturesque!

I loved being in Potsdam, strolling through the streets and discovering so many beautiful spots!

new swimwear needed?

Need a new swimsuit? No? Yes you do. Yes? Go and get it!

Okay so now that we're on the same level I wanna show you an online shop I just discovered. At first it looks a bit creepy and too funky (at least for my taste) but there really are some rather cool peaces waiting to be found.

Here you go :)

my fav ones are these:

A Fairy Tale

Once upon a time,

there was this very wise person (a woman of course) who gave advise to

the ones, not blessed with the same amount of wisdom as her. One of her many many helpful guidances

made every girl on this fashionable planet realize how to experience true bliss. This phenomenon

took place when she announced:

Freedom

Hair gets lighter, skin gets darker, water gets warmer, drinks get colder, music gets louder, nights get longer -life gets better.

I'm a complete summer girl. I live for sunny days, relaxing in the sun, getting chocolatey tanned and so on. To me summer means being free.

Another important factor that contributes to my love to summer is the fashion. Everything gets lighter and more comfortable and you don't have to hide under huge coats. All these things bring about freedom :)

Smoothie Time!

This weekend I tried out two different smoothies. Smoothies, especially the green ones, are all over the media and everyone seems to be overwhelmed to have finally found the secret of clean eating, detoxing and weight loss. So far so good. But like every diet-secret there are not only positive effects. I tried to drink smoothies for two days. The first day I made a smoothie out of pineapple, kiwis, berries and ginger. I chose a mixture out of fruits to get used to drinking and not eating the whole day and still feel full and nourished.

My experience:

Day 1 was really amazing, I had a lot of energy, did not feel hungry and was at best mood.
Day 2 was okay, my smoothie consisted of green veggies -except for the kiwis again, to get some sweet and sour taste as well- and I actually felt quite good during the day but in the evening I got really hungry and felt dizzy including the worst headache.
So the conclusion I can draw from this experiment is that one day of drinking smoothies with a higher % of fruits than vegetables is a very good experience and I am definitely going to repeat that, but next time I will renounce day 2 :)

Pentecost weekend aka. doing nothing all day long

For the last few days I intended to do as little as possible and guess what: I succeeded :)

Although that is not the entire truth, what I did was: go shopping, do some sports, lie in the sun and eat. Since all of my friends here in Berlin went home to their families for pentecost and I stayed here all by myself
(aaaaall byyy myyyyseeeeeeelf♬)
I decided to get the most relaxation out of this long weekend.

Here you go, some impressions of my allbymyselfweekend:

cooking time!

I got a new, more than easy recipe for y'all :)

All you need is:

-champignons
-green, red and yellow pepper
-onions
-spices of your choice
-shrimps/prawns

& all you gotta do is:

First you put one onion (cut into tiny pieces of course) into a hot pan with some oil

It shouldn't take too long until the onion gets nicely browned and at this point you'll wanna add the peppers to the pan

After leaving the peppers in the pan -preferably with a lid- for some time (until they get a somewhat soft consistency) ....
.... you're going to add the champignons and shortly afterwards the shrimps

Then you just mix everything for one minute and there you go :)
